This contract covered the fabrication and supplying of parts and components of the Wash Water Degassing Drum, Absorber Stripper Feed Drum and Compressor Interstage Drum.

The weld overlaid spools have been manufactured and supplied in a very challenging and tight schedule. Newtesol’s scope of work was integral, covering:

• - Purchase of pipes, fittings and connections and NDE testings as per Saudi Aramco specifications.
• - Stainless steel weld overlay of all internal surfaces and flange sealing areas, as well as the butt weld of the pipe connections and NDE testing according to Saudi Aramcostandards and ASME VIII Div.1 with U Stamp and its Partial Data Report

This project was very complicated, due to the small diameters (2" schedule XXS with lengths of 2 meters) and nozzles of difficult configuration where we had to weld overlay elbows, tees and reductions.

These spools will be welded to the pressure vessels that are being manufactured in a major heavy industry in Saudi Arabia.

This outstanding project execution strengthens Newtesol's position in the major pressure vessel manufacturers and heavy industries worldwide market.
